Tankokai Seattle 50th Anniversary Event

We are excited to announce that the Association will be holding its 50^th anniversary celebration on August 20-21, 2022.

Venue 

August 20th (Sat):

• Morning: A lecture by Urasenke Gyotei Suzuki Sokei’s sensei at Bellevue Children’s Academy followed by lunch.
• Afternoon:Tea and sweet serving followed by the panel discussion and Chado demonstration at Seattle Asian Art Museum.
• Evening: Banguet at Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland

August 21st (Sun):

• Tea gathering and buffet lunch at Woodmark Hotel. An attendee will go to three seating; thin tea, thick tea, and sweet

Cost

$300 including lunch, dinner on Saturday, admission to SAAM and panel discussion session, and lunch and tea seating on Sunday.

Note: It is recommended for out-of-state guests to stay at Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, as transportation to/from Seattle Asian Art Museum will depart/arrive at the hotel.
