金継ぎ講義＆デモンストレーション見学・55周年記念 会員親睦昼食会

10月4日（日）2026年度会員限定イベントの第2回目として、10月４日（日曜日）にオレゴン州より金継ぎの専門家をお招し、BCAにて金継ぎに関する講義およびデモンストレーションの見学を行います。その後、淡交会シアトル協会55周年を祝う親睦昼食会を、清水会長ご自宅にて開催いたします。定員は設けませんが、参加人数が想定を大幅に超える場
合には、昼食会もBCAにて実施する可能性があります。詳細および申込開始は夏頃を予定しております。
また、呈茶用和菓子作り（８個）や前日当日の手伝いなどボランティアも夏頃に募集いたします。どうぞお楽しみに！

Kintsugi Lecture & Demonstration followed by 55th Anniversary Luncheon on Sunday, October 4

As the second members-only event of 2026, we will welcome a kintsugi specialist from Oregon for a lecture and demonstration at BCA on Sunday, October 4th. Following the program, we will hold a luncheon at President Shimizu’s residence to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Tankokai Seattle Association. There is no set participant limit; however, if attendance exceeds expectations, the luncheon may also be held at BCA. Further details and registration information will be announced around summer.
We will also be recruiting volunteers in the summer for tasks such as preparing eight servings of wagashi for tea service, assisting with setup on the previous day, and helping with preparations, support, and cleanup on the day of the event, etc. Please look forward to it!
