淡交会メンバーイベントコミッティでは、秋のメンバー向けイベントとしてお茶会を企画いたしました。

一般の方向けのプレゼンテーションとは少し趣向を変え、メンバー同士でお濃茶の各服点てをいただく、という内容です。お床の拝見を含む客の席入り、その後の床の間に関する問答、縁高で頂く主菓子、点前道具の拝見と問答、など、松聲庵ボランティアではしないことも体験していただけます。普段のお稽古を実践していただける絶好の機会です。

美しい庭園に囲まれて、社中を超えてゆったりとお茶の世界を楽しみましょう。

Tankokai member event committee has planned a tea gathering among members. 
Different from our usual tea ceremony presentation s at Shoseian, we will enjoy Koicha.  It will be a good opportunity to put into practice what we learn at our okeiko, such as entering into the room and appreciating the scroll, having sweets in Fuchidaka, and doing Haiken of each tea utensil. 

Let’s enjoy tea together with other Tankokai members in the beautiful surroundings. 

日時：10月5日（土）　午前11時から午後5時の間で1席もしくは2席(客だけでなく、亭主、半東、水屋などしてくださる方)

場所：シアトル日本庭園内　松聲庵

参加費用：$10 (日本庭園の入園料、各自別途入場時にお支払いください)

人数：30人まで

申し込み締め切り：9月5日

• 参加希望の方で、特に亭主、半島、水屋、のお役目をしてくださる方はご希望をComment欄にてお知らせください。
• 宗旦忌あるいは季節にちなみ、お持ちいただけるお茶道具がおありの場合は、その旨をComment欄にてお知らせください。

Date and Time:  Saturday, October 5^th, 11 am – 5 pm. One or two seatings (for those who play roles of Teishu, Hanto, and Mizuya)

Place:  Shoseian tea house in Seattle Japanese Garden

Fee:  $10 per member (Admission fee to Japanese Garden is not included)

Max # of registration:  30
